Harvested in the untouched landscapes of New Zealand, Tane Manuka Honey is raw, natural, and environmentally responsible.
Our bees forage free among native Manuka flowers, producing honey of exceptional purity and strength.
Carefully harvested with minimal impact, every jar reflects respect for nature and origin.

Tane is a family-run Manuka honey brand rooted in New Zealand. Our identity is inspired by Māori culture, drawing from its deep connection to nature, balance, and respect for the land.
Founded in 1978, Tane began with a simple vision: to produce high-quality honey with care, integrity, and respect for its origin.

UMF stands for Unique Manuka Factor. It is a quality grading system that certifies the authenticity and performance of Manuka honey.
UMF does not measure just one element. It evaluates several key components together, including MGO, to ensure the honey is genuine and meets strict standards of purity and activity.

MGO stands for methylglyoxal. It is a naturally occurring compound found in Manuka honey.
MGO is responsible for many of the honey’s unique antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. The higher the MGO level, the more active and potent the honey is considered to be.
